TP Web: How to Create a New Question List

  1. Log in to your TurningPoint account.
  2. Under “Courses” tab, locate the desired course and click View.
  3. In “Content” tab, click Add Question List.
  4. Enter a name for the question list.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click drop-down arrow next to “Create”
  7. Select a question type.  The question types are M/C, Short Answers, and Numeric Response. 
    Note:  Selecting Text is only for non-question information provided to students. 
  8. Enter question text in the field provided.
  9. Enter answer text in the field provided.
    Note1:  Answer choices for short answer must be separated by a comma, semicolon, colon, or hard return. You can also enforce capitalization from the Options pane.
    Note2:  In “Numeric Response” question, the answer can be a fixed value or a range.
  10. Mark the correct answer by clicking the toggle switch.
  11. Click +Add if you want to add more answer choices.
    Note:  To delete an answer choice, select the trash icon. 
  12.  In “Optionssection, enter points for this question and turn other options on. 
  13. Click Save.
  14. To create more questions, repeat steps 6 thru 13.
  15. If you would like to change the order of the questions, drag the blue bar containing the question type name up or down. The position of the question is indicated by the numeric value to the far left of the blue bar.
