TP Web: How to Participate in a Scheduled Polling

Instructors might schedule polling questions for students to complete outside the classroom within a scheduled time period.  Students can use the following instructions to participate a scheduled polling. 

Option I:  A Scheduled Session Link Provided

  1. Click the scheduled session link provided by the professor in Blackboard.
  2. Sign into your TurningPoint account by entering your UH email address and TurningPoint account password.
  3. Answer the polling questions. When are done, click Finish.

Option II:  A Scheduled Session Link Not Provided

–> Cellphone Users

  1. Download the TurningPoint app from the App Store or the Google Play Store.  Open the TurningPoint App. 
  2. Sign into your TurningPoint account by entering your UH email address and TurningPoint account password.
  3. Click the Courses icon.
  4. Select your course.
  5. Click Available.
  6. Select the session that you want to participate in.

–> Laptop Users:

  1. Go to http://www.ttpoll.com
  2. Select SIGN IN in the top right corner.
  3. Sign into your TurningPoint account by entering your UH email address and TurningPoint account password.
  4. Click Courses.
  5. Find your course and click View.
  6. Select Sessions.
  7. Find the session that you want to participate in and click Join!
