On April 24th, 114 faculty, staff, and graduate students from the UH System gathered to attend the first ITLS held at UH-Main campus. This year’s event focused on the tracks of quality, mobile, accessible, and secure learning Highlights included a keynote on blended course research by Dr. Ike Shibley of Penn State Berks, as well as a hands-on workshop by Dr. Shibley in which faculty worked through the preliminary steps of creating a blended course. UH System Security and Registrar administrators also held a panel discussion on how to keep student and other sensitive data confidential.
