Curriculum Mapping in Social Work

At the University of Houston, Dr. Monit Cheung and Dr. Sarah Narendorf have been working on its curriculum mapping as a Graduate College of Social Work Teaching Innovation Project. Curriculum mapping is a team-approach process that helps faculty describe the entire curriculum after analyzing various components of knowledge, skills and values in social work. It aims to find the required areas that prepare students for their professional practice and to assist faculty in delivering course contents that are aligned with the Council on Social Work Education re-accreditation standard.
