How to Copy a File Link in OneDrive & Share with Instructor (Student Guide)

  1. Upload a file to OneDrive.  See Tutorial.
  2. Select the file you want to copy, click Copy link.
  3. A link to the file is created.  By default, this link is to share with people in UH.  Since you only want to share it to your instructor, click the drop-down arrow.
  4. In Link Setting:
    a. Make sure specific people is selected.
    b. Uncheck Allow editing.
    c. Type your instructor’s Email.
    d. Select Apply.
  1. Click Copy.  Then, this link is copied. You can paste the link in Email message.
