TP8: How to Merge Secondary Devices

In the Unassigned Devices area, there is a clicker or Turning Account ID with the student’s name in brackets.

You have updated the participant list, but the clicker points still can’t be moved to the student’s account. In this situation, the student responded to the clicker questions with more than one registered device, such as with the clicker and cell phone, during the same session. You can merge secondary devices by following these steps:

  1. Open TP 8 and sign in to your Turning Account
  2. From the Manage tab, select a Participant list and click Results Manager.
  3. Select the session column and click Merge Secondary Devices. The Merge Secondary Devices window opens.
  4. Click Merge.

NOTE: If the sum of the responses for the primary and secondary devices exceed the number of responses in the lesson, verify with the participant that they used both devices in the session.
